7/8/00  DUNCAN, a 1 1/2 year old male, came to live with us for about 3 1/2 weeks after his time was up at a shelter in New Jersey.  He was a stray, but a wonderful dog who will make his new family very happy.  He now has a brittany sister who tells him who's boss and keeps him in line, and he gets to go to the beach every weekend!  Talk about a dog's life!

3/23/00  BRIDGET, a 9 year old female, came to stay with us for about 2 weeks.  We originally thought we might adopt her, but it was very clear that she didn't like to be bothered with other dogs due to the fact that she was nearly blind, probably due to PRA.  We found her a good home where she is an only dog (although she does live with a cat).
